Easiest Way to Prepare Perfect Veg Pulao

You can have Veg Pulao using 13 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Veg Pulao

  1. You need 30 g of Ghee (or 15g each of Ghee/Coconut oil).
  2. It's 200 g of Rice (or Quinoa / Bulgur wheat).
  3. Prepare 200 g of Mixed Vegetables.
  4. Prepare 100 g of Peppers.
  5. You need 50 g of Peanuts.
  6. Prepare 0.2 g of Bay leaf.
  7. Prepare 3 g of Cumin seeds (Whole).
  8. It's 0.3 g of Cardamom pods (Whole).
  9. Prepare 0.3 g of Cinnamon sticks (Whole).
  10. You need 0.3 g of Cloves (Whole).
  11. You need 2 of Veg Stock Cubes.
  12. You need 3 g of Schwartz All Seasoning.
  13. You need 360 g of Hot Water.

Veg Pulao instructions

  1. Soak the rice 30 mins prior to cooking.
  2. Needs a pan with a lid. Heat the Ghee in the pan.
  3. Roast the Cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf in the ghee till the aroma is released (just a few seconds).
  4. Add the peanuts, vegetables and peppers and cook on medium to high flame.
  5. Add the all-seasoning and Crumble the stock cube into the pan and mix well with the vegetables..
  6. Add the rice and mix gently with the vegetables and combine well.
  7. Add the boiling water, give it a quick stir to mix well and cover immediately.
  8. Cook on high flame till most of the water evaporates (3-4 mins).
  9. Once most of the water has evaporated, reduce the flame to low and cook for a further 5 mins.
  10. Turn off the flame, uncover and combine gently and leave for a few minutes.
